Touch works just fine with 24/96 on digital outs, so something definitely not right with your player or something on your server. Touch plays FLAC natively. I'm assuming these are 24/96 FLAC? If ALAC or WAV, I'd double check my file handling settings in LMS > Settings > Advanced > file types. I'm guessing that some automatic transcoding is going on with the SB3 (thus they are playing), but that's not happening with the FLAC (or whatever your 24/96 file is). Also, what is your LMS server running on? PC? Mac? low powered NAS? etc.
