Then you're already NOT using the Touch's DAC. You are instead using the
Denon's DAC.  And if you add a DAC in between the TOUCH and the Denon,
it will still be using the Denon DAC unless the Denon has a pure analog
pass-thru capability (and as pointed out, many AV receivers do NOT have
this option).

p.s. I have a Benchmark DAC I (which is a highly rated DAC) connected to
one of my Touch players. In a (single) blind test, I can't detect which
DAC is being used (touch vs benchmark). I agree that the Touch DAC seems
quite good.   (the main reason I'm using the Benchmark is so that I can
use the BALANCED ANALOG OUTs  of the Benchmark instead of the unbalanced
analog out (rca) of the TOUCH.
