Again I would go out and audition some other DAC's. You will then soon
understand whether or not you need a new one. 
Even if your current DAC is "old", it has pretty decent specs.

Make that 2 vs 1 now: the remedy will do nothing for you. It is a
typical audiophool product, even when it comes from a company that makes
a decent DAC. 
Some people are easily influenced by marketing BS talk. Just ignore that
and save your money.
