Just got a Singxer SU-1 in. Touch sees the Singxer, but status is "Stopped". Solved by using an active USB extension cable. I don't know the technical details of everything, but every time I have a problem with a device, it isolates the 5V line. I assume using a hub would work as well.
I'll contact Singxer in the new year and see if there is any settings I can fiddle with.
