Many thanks to all who have replied. You've pretty much convinced me to go down the Pi route. Excuse my complete ignorance - a quick clarification then: I connect my SSD to a USB port on the Pi and connect the Pi USB to USB on the Touch? I see there is an add-in DAC available for the Pi. Is this essential or does the analogue audio out still work on the Touch? Thanks again - Alan
