Couple of items for next steps. 1. When everything is working used the backup feature in Picore to backup the SD card, look for "SD Card Image". That way if the SD card becomes corrupted, you can restore the set-up. 2. if you have not already done so, set up Samba so you can communicate with the Pi via your Mac.
