We're using Trac for problem reporting from a facility operator to groups of device responsibles. Therefore, I would like to have notifications for a ticket going to a group of people, that group depending on the category.
I could see this working either by creating pseudo accounts (one for each category) that use a list of email addresses and are configured as the primary responsible for the category or by being able to define a primary responsible plus auto CCs for each category (I'd prefer the latter). As both things don't seem to be possible right now, I created pseudo accounts and use sendmail aliases to have the mail distributed. Works, but doesn't look right, as configuration is done completely separate, Trac doesn't know a thing about it etc. BTW: It would also be nice, if the reporter was able to see who will receive the ticket note when creating the ticket, as that might give him a hint who to put in for an additional CC. Any ideas anyone? Ralph Lange Yes, we've been moving from Gnats to Trac. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Users" group.
