I was very happy with trac until i started using mylyn to manage the tasks thru eclipse. Mylyn's bugzilla connector allows for so many features that i have plugins setup for trac thru the web interface. I'll still love trac as a repo/diff web browser (we don't really use the wiki). The plus for trac is the easy integration with tickets and svn commits that work really well, setting up scmbug for the same effect isn't that user friendly but i've never had any issues with it once its setup.
I know the mylyn intergration isn't a trac issue so the only feature that was a must for me is multiple projects and ticket dependencies (trac ticket blocking plugin is fine). If you are using eclipse/mylyn setup i would still use trac for svn repo browser but use bugzilla for a bug tracking. The rich interface, multiple projects, ticket dependencies are just fantastic. --Brendon On Nov 30, 2007, at 10:35 AM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > All, > I assume this topic might have been discussed before, but does > anyone have a list of the pros and cons of using Trac vs. Bugzilla? > > Any links/input is appreciated. > > Thanks, > Millard > More new features than ever.
