I knew Entrans and also Kartouche:

but I didn't know the others. Entrans is dead. In the galician
translation we have an initiative from our government and they chose
Entrans because in that times Pootle wasn't functional. They have to
maintain the code and also to extend it. After petitions from the
volunteers for changing to Pootle they finally closed the site.

I agree that Pootle is ugly, user unfriendly...
