Hi Robert,

The link to the suggested template update process is here:
http://docs.translatehouse.org/projects/pootle/en/stable-2.7.3/features/templates.html#updating-existing-translations

That should be enough to get you going. Drop into the gitter channel if you
need someone to check your process.

We're trying to get Pootle FS into 2.8.0 as a beta feature. This will be the
preferred process going forward.

Hello Dwayne,

The process you mention below about the templates, is this noted in the
documentation? Could you share the link? We need to develop a workflow here,
and this would be very helpful, thank you!

Kind Regards,
Robert

Hi Sujan,

Templates exist in 2.7.3 and 2.8.0beta1 (to be released). But they are only
used to initialise new languages in a project. They won't be used to update
translations. On all my installs I do the update on the filesystem and then
import them into Pootle. I use sync_store and update_store to get the file
before I update against templates and to load files once updated.

We're busy finalising Pootle FS which we'll release with 2.8.1 which has
tighten this loop.

I hope that makes things clearer?

Mobile security can be enabling, not merely restricting. Employees who
bring their own devices (BYOD) to work are irked by the imposition of MDM
restrictions. Mobile Device Manager Plus allows you to control only the
apps on BYO-devices by containerizing them, leaving personal data untouched!
