'He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding, but he that is hasty of
spirit exalteth folly. A sound heart is the life of the flesh, but envy the
rottenness of the bones.' Prov 14:29-30
I would like to look at this scripture in the context of Love as today is
valentines day. One of the characteristics of love is that it is gentle, calm
and soft. Sometimes we r really pushed to the edge and the only logical thing
is to burst, but it says we must be slow to wrath, that is love.
As we all know that love resides in our hearts, and our fleshly actions only
reflect our heart condition.. As we walk in love, not only in this season of
love but always, we must ensure that our actions show love.
It is written that the greatest law of all is love, therefore let our hearts
guide our actions to show love. Tell someone close you love them, affirm
someone in a problem in love, be slow to wrath even wen pushed to the edge, go
out of ur way to help someone in love etc, we can never run out of ways to show
love, but it begins with ur heart condition, and it is reflected by how u react
to external stimuli.
