'A soft answer turneth away wrath, but grievious words stir up anger.' Prov 15:1
In light of the love theme we discussed yesterday, I would think that it takes
great love for ur neighbour to give a soft answer. It even takes greater Love
for God to give a soft answer to someone you do not even know.
I will give a couple of examples
You are driving down the road and someone just cuts in front of you, the
immediate response would be to press on your hooter, drive to their side and
tell them to drive properly, or u can just step on your brakes, calm urself
down and continue ur journey.
You jump onto a combi and conductor tells u that he doesn't have a coin. You
can choose to shout at him and tell him why he shld have change, or u can chill
and discuss a way forward.
You accused of something u didn't do, u r pissed off and decide let me give
them a piece of me, u end up saying stuff that was unnecessary, or u can just
chill and respond politely.
Someone just starts shouting at you, whether they are justified or unjustifed,
a soft answer more often than not results in a better ending.

Guys let us pray hat God gives us the wisdom to respond softly and politely,
yes, even wen we r right and the other party is wrong. I believe responding
calmly and softly not only shows respect but it also demonstrates a greater
level of Love for God and for the next person.
