Let me know how flashing them with OpenWRT goes. All my current OpenWRT boxes are ver. 3 boxes. I have to order about six more GLs for upcoming projects.

Thanks for all the replies on this. I decided to go with the WRT54GL in the end, mainly so that I can have 4 ports available instead of just 1. You never know when it might come in handy to have an extra port in the living room. :-) Also, I already have one of these, so I know it's a good box.
