I clearly didn't follow on thing about the above. The way your describing  
this to me sounds like it is a manual process. Why should the user have to  
list all of the dependencies of a package? The whole advantage of the modern  
packaging system is to avoid that. Doing it manually would drive anyone mad  
for anything except the most basic basic of packages.
