And, so I've checked the documentation on nouveau's web page, about their  
"git" repository, where it talks about compiling modules and/or kernels, but  
that's something that's, not only beyond my level of knowledge, but also,  
above all, my level of patience...

So, unfortunately, this is as far as I'm willing to go...
