Interesting, it says 'something is getting stuck' and Fernando's kernel log shows the nouveau KMS driver being unable to run all the initialisation opcodes in the video BIOS because the card doesn't come back within 20ms.

I soak tested two cards in the same series (NV50) during the Trisquel 6.0 beta. Not only did they work out of the box, they ran over 24 hours of continuous OpenGL screen savers before glitching. Perhaps Fernando's curse should be the card manufacturer, not nVidia.
