I looked at a couple of XML parsing libraries, and I think I'll use the
libxml library from the GNOME desktop environment, since it's likely to be
included with all Linux distributions.  I still need to know where the
presets.rnx file is (or will be) in the Unix version of RealPlayer.

I think that bookmarks will need to be assigned numbers instead of
letters, in case someone has more than 26 of them.  Also, the "list
bookmarks" command will need to deal with the possibility that the
bookmark list may be too large to fit on one screen.  These are
complications that I hadn't considered when I was first thinking about
this feature.
