This is a good Scripture to bring to bear on this subject. It emphasizes the role of covenant and its power, not only to condemn (as in the case of Adam's sin), but to bless (as in the case of Jesus's righteousness). But this idea also suggests that those unbelievers who have children that die as infants, before they have actually sinned, that they would be unclean and condemned by nature of their unbelieving parents.
