David M, I can agree with that. That's why I don't try to argue much with folks. I will only discuss things until I see whether the person is really interested in growing in their understanding, (or if I have something to learn from them). And sometimes getting into a good "argument" helps me to understand what I really believe myself. Otherwise, the discussion is pointless.
If anyone is really seeking Truth they will find it. You can't argue anyone into believing/understanding the Truth if they don't want it. And sometimes they just aren't ready yet, but will be later. So, give it a rest. God is not glorified by pointless, angry bickering. All truth comes from, and leads to, Jesus. And He is the only one who has ALL the Truth--no human person or institution does. That's why I'm always curious to learn more. It's exciting to realize that we will be learning more of His Truth all through eternity. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, WHO HOLD THE TRUTH IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS; Because that which may be known of God IS MANIFEST IN THEM; FOR GOD HATH SHOWED IT UNTO THEM.
