1. I and, perhaps several other participants on TT could have approximated your post in response to the Smithmeister.

jt: But Lance I have not  as yet responded to the Smithmeister, my response was to your reply to the Smithmeister...

2. You along with the rest of us exhibit regularly the difficulty that the Spirit of God has with each in breaking down and through our doctrinal frameworks.

jt: The Spirit of God is not interested or concerned with breaking down the Words He inspired and spoke through the prophets.

3. You more than most I've known demonstrate uncertainty that 'You are the child God always wanted'.

jt: You may read that into what I write Lance, but it is a false assumption - I don't profess to have already attained like some
but I do have peace with God along with the assurance that He will complete the work He has begun in me.

How? you ask. Bragdidoccio, unflappable certainty, barbed criticisms, reliance on words over The Word....

jt: I stand upon The Word of Truth which is how I can remain what you call "certain and unflappable" because He is the Rock, His work is perfect for all His ways are Judgment. A God of Truth and without iniquity.  Just and right is He.  I am not satisfied with where I am at - However, so long as I don't stand condemned before Him I can have confidence. The "barbed" criticisms are a figment of your imagination  Lance. I do not barb anything and am not into negative worldly humor.  Have you considered that you may not be willing to receive The Word of Truth yourself?
