Iz:It matters not what I think re: what America was built upon. It matters much what God thinks. America was founded by rationalists & deists..these are not folk you'd welcome to speak in your church. Knowing your constitution better than I (I hope) you know that I'm correct on this.

Ahh, I just finished the last touches on restoring (as much as possible) a very worn old quilt for a Jewish woman to use as her wedding “chuppa”. It is a Star of David inside another larger Star of David, and was made by her grandmother.  So exciting! So, before I begin the washing part….back to TT.

Lance, you sound a bit schizophrenic in your listening/reading tastes.  Do you just listen to “the other side” to convince yourself that you are being fair in your anti-American sentiments? Wm. F. Buckley is wonderful.  Rush is just as wonderful in spite of your bias towards “higher” education. (They are in fact good friends.)  Bill O’Reilly is a street fighter, but I enjoy him most of the time.  As for the libs…they are insane, and so is anyone who thinks they have any logic whatsoever.

As far as Iraq, I already knew that you would rather let evil fester there while we talk about World Peace (which strictly is a Liberal viewpoint), and unfortunately America has not rescued every nation that has needed it in the past 200 years of our history.  We get enough grief for the ones that we do. I assume you would make a great sideline quarterback—it costs nothing to criticize.

Anyone with even a cursory understanding of scripture and belief in it must be against sodomy—glad to hear you haven’t yet gone over to the dark side on that one.

The bottom line is that you cannot escape the term “Liberal” (in America lexicon) as long as you hate everything that America was built upon and stands for today.

Iz:Better, I think,  to illustrate with what I think on random issues & people:

I've listened to and read with delight: Wm F. Buckley (Rush with an education) & Noam Chomsky...Bill O'Reilly & Al Franken

I believe that the US should not have invaded Iraq but should have come to the aid of Rwanda

I believe that Homosexuality is wrong & forbidden by Scripture while I also believe that the debt of the third world should be forgiven by the West.

Tiny sampling encompassing more than the 'party line'. Confusing isn't it?

Lance, Kindly tell me how you think you actually differ from a liberal. (This will be interesting.) Izzy

Iz:I'm really NOT a liberal just someone who doesn't want to unthinkingly (uncritically) buy into the 'party line'.
