Totally prepare the client with the proper paperwork. If the lawyer won't "play nicely" with us, we file on our own. If the court refuses to accept it, we fire the attorney, or better yet, make the attorney so uncomfortable, they withdraw. Most judges won't take the chance of case law being against them. They know what sanctions are all about and won't risk the embarrassment. Furthermore, they don’t CARE what the laws say.  (Unless they are one of the very rare decent human beings.)  You can quote the law until the cows come home but it is not going to override what these little “gods” want things to be.  They only care about their personal biases, which are usually anti-big corporation, anti-“rich”, anti-white, anti-males, etc. Izzy
