Covenants
Scripture speaks often about the nations coming to Israel. The mixed
multitude that came out of Egypt and the foreigner or stranger who dwells
among Israel were all to be considered as though native born. I do not think
it would be fair to say God ignored the nations by giving Israel a special
status. This special status, in fact, was supposed to be the magnet or
catalyst to bring the nations TO God. We didn't do as good of a job as we
should have. With the advent of Messiah, Israel (unbroken and grafted
branches) is to be a magnet or catalyst to bring the nations to God. We
aren't going as good of a job as we should. We fight, bicker, call each other
names, and say everyone is going to hell except our denomination
(generalizations, please understand).
Same
problem.
Different day.
