As far as I can tell, it is a logical necessity that if a person is comfortable with the idea of keeping their sin and being called righteous, then such a person is comfortable in sin.  Even if he is comfortable in spite of sin, he is still comfortable in sin.  I have yet to see anyone explain the difference.  John wants to ignore this problem and move on.  I guess that is what we will do.
