Who knows what it was for....Bob committed it about 6 weeks ago for 
JCEJ...with this message:

"Plugin to enable the perforce tasks in ant-optional.  Needed to stuff
the ORO regexp jar into the classpath at the appropriate location."

So maybe that's all it does...allow the perforce tasks to run....James,
