The ant optional thing that enables the various perforce tasks somehow requires the oro jarfile. The project.xml in the perforce plugin seems to ensure that oro is in the classpath. Weird but effective. We've created a few p4 goals specific to our project. They don't deal with the changelog but I'd be happy to share 'em as a thought exercise if anyone is interested.
