I don't do conscription, so if you're game for taking this on, I'm
certainly out to provide the guidance you seek. The fact that you
mentioned it told me "aha! here's something that needs docs that
someone, like Roger, might do!"

The CSS approach scales better, because it can work for every page.
But, we still need a way to produce printable versions of the
multipage docs, particularly now that the Getting Started Guide is
spread out over a whole bunch of pages.

The first step would be creating CSS that eliminates the
navigation/header elements and leaves a minimal header behind.

I don't know where Richard Standbrook stands on the TG.org redesign
(he has another revision of the template coming). I would think that a
little coordination will be necessary to ensure that you can create a
template with the right CSS rules and not have that stomped on by
Richard's updates to the template.

The second bit would be better generation of combined docs. The big
problem with the current one is that it's kind of hardcoded and
unwieldy, plus it doesn't support something like the "Getting Started
Guide" where it needs to be told the order of the pages.
