How about it's stupid to think Conan will be in reruns after 20 shows. Has his
lead-out been in reruns? It's the first of Max's hiatus weeks that begins on
Monday. As the band is tight enough to deal without him, we just don't get
jokes about Max being a pervert for a few weeks.

As for King of Late Night, Scottish Conan guy crowned himself a couple of weeks
ago.

Briefly,

Max Weinberg will be on leave for a while as he rejoins Bruce and the
E Street boys for their concert tour

The first of Conan's hiatus weeks begins on Monday... wonder how the
ratings will hold up during the reruns
Do you mean, these ratings?:
http://blogs.kansascity.com/tvbarn/2009/06/its-a-new-day-in-late-night-as-dave-tops-conan-in-ratings-is-it-better-to-be-the-king-or-the-prince.html

"Those of us monitoring the night-to-night ratings knew this was coming, and
now Nielsen has just made it official: For
the first time in nearly four years, "Late Show with David Letterman"
beat "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" in the weekly household
ratings. And the margin of victory was substantial enough that it suggests a
change in pecking order. For now, Dave is the King of Late Night."
