I hope that readers of this forum don't assume that Temple Grandin is a traditional weepie, good-for-you time movie-of-the-week. I have little doubt that if it were released theatrically, Claire Danes would have been the favorite for the Oscar, and she would deserve it. Same with David Straitharn. I didn't see a better movie last year, in a theater or at home.
