I suspect that we'll get a lot of hard-nosed views from Jimmy Iovine once he becomes the house mentor (which I assume will be during Hollywood Week)--his main agenda has to be looking for a hit record (or iTunes download) and there hasn't been anyone on "Idol" in the past with that much direct stake in the success of the winner being part of the regular cast (Clive Davis always seemed to be the guy waving from the audience on the finale). In his search for a hit, he may even make Simon look like Paula, so to speak. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
