Out of 23 drama pilots shot last year (the shows that employ the most people), only two were shot in LA instead of Canada or elsewhere--most sitcoms are still shot in LA, but those are studio or back-lot bound (even the one-camera shows) and don't employ as many people or spend as much money as dramas:
