The death of iGoogle today was for me something of a crisis, but I note
with some surprise that I seem to be the only one I have any contact with
(live or virtual) who gives any appearance of even caring. I have set up
Netvibes as suggested by Tom, and MyYahoo, but still don't feel comfortable
with either.

It looks like the whole murder of iGoogle was simply an attempt to force me
into the Google+ universe. But I don't want to be in Google+. I WANT MY
iGOOGLE BACK. I am an old man and have trouble adjusting to change. I don't
like it when they re-arrange the shelves at the local market, or change the
girl who takes my money at the gas station. I am still waiting for the Rams
to come back to Los Angeles and the Lakers to move back to the Forum. And I
don't like it now that I have to get used to a whole new internet. And make
no mistake about it, the internet looks completely different today. I WANT
MY iGOOGLE BACK.
