I mourn the death of iGoogle as well. I had a nice weather thing on it that told me the current temperature and the five day forecast, plus a calendar, a big easy-to-read clock and some other handy widgets. I do not have a smartphone, just a rickety old PC that my kids built for me. I am using the plain old Goggle homepage as it has a link in the upper corner to get me to g-mail, but now I have to go to Yahoo for the weather do-hickey, a calendar and headlines. It's very frustrating, I don't know why they had to kill it.
