The same thing happened to me. When the transition started it seemed like
there was a huge gap between the dysfunction of the transition team and
their goals and the political comedy of late night hosts. I also had a
feeling that the networks would put pressure on hosts to be less political
after the inauguration out of respect for the office. As the comedy seems
more in sync with the news, I am also coming back slowly to watch.

It will be rare, though, that I stick around for the guests. I just don't
recognize the younger ones.
