Greetings,

I agree what has been suggested so far, but I will add a small word
of caution to the method you mention: moving the cards back and forth
along the warp threads. This is a bad habit to get into, as it will
cause wear on your warp threads, to the point of breakage if you have
particularly delicate threads that you keep under tension.

One method not mentioned, so far, is simply putting your finger
through the shed, to feel the threads. Usually, I am able to feel
which threads that are out of alignment, at that point, and nudge
them back to the side of the shed where they belong.

If you are having this problem consistently, you may want to
reconsider the thread you are weaving with. While you can tablet
weave with just about any type of thread, you will have a much easier
time of it if you use a smooth thread with a fairly tight twist.
Fuzzy, woolen threads are much trickier to work with, and require
somewhat higher tension, as well as plenty of attention as you weave.
I try to avoid them when I have a project with a tight deadline.

Good luck! Will we get to see pictures of your project?
