Cross-stitch alphabets do rather poorly in tablet weaving, because the
aspect ratio of the individual pixels is not square.  To do a good
job, you have to determine your own aspect ratio with the yarn you
will be using, and design the letters to fit.  Guntrum's designs can
be a good starting point.
