Maybe. Is your tag cloud defined fully with TS? Do you by any chance

then later apply your TS changes?

No, it isn't. You've seen the full definition in my last post. There
is the configuration as posted in the root template and then the cloud
is placed on a single page and configured by the flexform as shown in
second code snippet.
Shall I try to place it completely in the template?
