still not working.
The calculated hash still differs each time i enter the same password.
Shouldnt it be the same if i enter the same password twice?

The install tool password is usually NOT md5 anymore!
Just enter the password you like in the Install Tool login screen.
The hash of the password will be output with the failed login.
Just paste this hash into the LocalConfiguration.php file and retry the login.

found the line and deleted it.
Then i tried replacing the install tool password with the joh316 md5 hash but i
am still unable to login.
Is there a way to disable the install tool pw?

i already tried to Update to 6.2.10rc1 but the problem persists.
How do i remove the salted passwords??

a few days ago we transferred our TYPO3 6.2.3 Installation to a new
Server.
The Server has a new PHP5.6 Installation of the Apache on Board.
Since the Migration we are unable to login to the Install Tool.
Everytime we enter the Password the calculated hash shown differs.
Editing the Password in LocalConfiguration didnt work.
I think the salt is broken since the Migration.
Any ideas how to fix this?
