It would be good to ask the author about why they added it and mentioned
making 8.5MB filesystem images.
Thanks for checking with me. Initially i wanted to write tests that
create filesystem images that are slightly larger and slightly
smallerthan the minimal size of a fat16 image. But these tests do not exist.
So i am ok with Simon's change to remove size_gran argument.
