Yes, I'm using -u, but -U isn't necessary as we don't use a proxy server. I'm looking for a logfile but can't find one... This is AIX, not Linux.
The version of cURL I'm using is 7.9.3 which doesn't have many of the more advanced command-line switches available. I've discovered that logins embedded within a web page are not recognized by default using the -u or --user construct. This switch is designed when a login window pops up above the web page. cURL acts on that and works flawlessly. My suspicion is the necessity of using the --form construct, but I'm not sure how to use it. . . yet. Any help would be great, however.
