This is such a devastating issue to many businesses in the same position as
IBM (except U2 is small and IBM is big) that most companies would never
allow this to happen.  When it does, it always does, they
bend-over-backwards to resolve the problem immediately (all it takes is a
single individual to resolve this).

Considering the number of responses about this issue, only IBM (or GM,
Microsoft, GE, the phone companies, etc) would consider such mismanagement
to be customer whining. :-)

Just $.02 from someone working on a number of conversions to (and new
development on) U2.
