Hi there , I wished to switched from windows XP to a linux OS. After some googleing , people said ubuntu is the most popular.
the Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop Edition OS is just one disc. while many others , like Fedora , has 5 to 6 discs. my question is does this one single disc contain all the things i need for the installation ? i need the normal stuffs like a browser , email , network connection read MS Words , Excel , etc and PDF files. thanks
