I too have been interested but quiet. I believe that Canonical require us to have a CONTACT person for the community. Apart from and including this person every member of the community has there right to organise any thing they like to help further Ubuntu in Australia. All that needs to happen is 1. Have a great idea. 2. Do a bit of research 3. Advertise it to the Ubuntu.au family for any help that might be needed. 4. Have a great time enjoying your function when it happens.
