Depends on what kind of corruption you are talking about, software wise Linux will not be corrupted because it uses a Journaling file system and also ext3 is a very efficient and stable file system. Also you should BUY window, should not you? and Windows is bound to get slower and slower with every software you install I can bring out many many problems for windows that users *definetly* face once in a while which Linux will certainly never face and you don't even expect it tobe get fixed cause the updates are not frequent and you probably using a pirated version. So why should not I encourage people for a better alternative?! why should I be a comunist if I have a better solution? You see you need to change your mentality. You have to accept the differences. I encourage anyone who is willing to accept the differences and spend some time on it and I'm not interested to help those who are not.
