lol! just felt that whip cracking my 4ss... that hurt.

I love the idea of this stick - and I don't doubt anyone thinks it is a
bad idea.

I popped the question to our council members (love playing with that
whip too) ;) ... so I hope to get some feedback from the others too.

Otoh, this is buying something that can take a big bite out of the
Ubuntu-be budget. If we want to do this, we'd better do it right (= well
organized).

Starting a vzw isn't going to happen yet... at least the first few
months (maybe a year), we'll see what direction we grow.
But if this idea is sustainable (organized from the base), I think we
can make this happen. So it's up to y'all to organize this one:

- what has to happen?
    - decide on specs & form factor
    - compare prices/qualities
    - choose/design imprint for stick
    - find sponsor?
    - how to merchandise it (site? only Dipro?...)
    - actually "fill" the sticks
    - follow up on orders, stock, etc...
    - do the payment
    - (please complete list) ...

- who will do it?
    - if this item remains empty, no need in thinking further

- questions to clear out
    - won't this be competition on Dipro?
(competition with other people selling sticks)

So, to say it with Marx: "Ubuntero's of all countries, Unity!"
(erh.. I mean unite!)

Grtz,
Jurgen
