Para alterar/cadastrar a senha do root utilize: *sudo passwd root* ira solicitar a senha do usuario local - *senha* e em seguida cadastrar a senha do root - *senha* confirmar a nova senha
Caso vc n queira mudar a senha do root, utilize o *sudo* no inicio da linha de comando.
