I have installed the packages and the PPD files and they appear in the
"Drivers" field, usually with "Series" and the name of a printer
language, like "SPL-C" in parentheses, and as the first entry. Note that
system-config-printer does more sophisticated sorting and comparing of
model names, to avoid duplicate entries of manufacturer and model names.
I do not see any problem.
