I checked again and it finally the driver appeared exactly with the filter language between parentheses, the only thing I did was to restart the computer. Since this machine works as a server for files, printing and licensing it haves long up-times and although I restarted CUPS manually from terminal It seems that only after reboot they appeared.
I should state that the driver appeared in CUPS web interface after restarting CUPS, but in system-config-printer they only appeared after reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/792726 Title: Manufacturers PPD's are not recognized in UI but they are in CUPS web interface To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/system-config-printer/+bug/792726/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
