Hello Christopher, Post#46 line 5 "Once you've tested the upstream kernel,..." what do you mean by upstream kernel? For example ubuntu12.10 was released on 17October2012 with linux kernel library module version 3.5.0-17-generic, you mean use linux kernel library module version 3.6 or later than 17October2012? is this correct?
I will now proceed to do numerous reboot to see anymore blank screen upon reboot. Will update you soon once the result is available.
