@Francesco, grub_term_highlight_color is not a setting, it is a C
function.  It was removed in the 14.04 version of grub, so if you still
have the 13.10 version of grub in the MBR, it is still looking for it
and can't find it in the 14.04 grub modules, hence the error.  It has
nothing to do with 05_debian_theme.

@olly_b, if you have reinstalled then the information is lost.  Also
13.04 is end of life and unsupported so you really shouldn't be running
it.  The installer *does* install grub-efi if you are running efi ( if
it didn't you'd never boot ).
